Meeting on the COST Book, COST Outputs and Final COST Meeting
Venue: Krystal Hotel (Room 1233), Prague
Date: 7-8 April 2016
The aim of this meeting was to bring together those COST Action members who are involved in the writing of the COST book and other COST outputs (i.e. ongoing papers). A secondary aim was to discuss the final COST meeting, which will be jointly held between our COST action and ENERGIC (IC1203) in London, October 2016.
There were 17 people participating in the meeting from 12 different countries: AT (2), BG (2), CZ (1), DE (2), DK (1), EL (1), FI (1), IE (1), IT (3), NO (1), PT (1) and UK (1). There were 12 males, 5 females and 2 ESRs.
Day 1: 7 April 2016
10.00-10.15 Coffee, registration
10.15-12.30 Chapter leads (or co-authors) report on status of each chapter:
- Current list of co-authors
- Outline of the chapter
- Any help needed (writing, extra bodies, other suggestions)
13.30-17.00 Update on any joint papers that people are working on
- RGS meeting format and suggestions for presentations/presenters
- Work on chapters/papers
- Discuss other potential ideas for collaboration/ongoing collaborations
- Organization of day 2 based on needs identified during the day

As a group we systematically discussed the status of each chapter in the book including the merging of two chapters and movement of the motivation chapter to earlier in the book. Actions were noted and then emailed to chapter leads after the meeting. Breakout sessions were then scheduled during the course of the two days to allow meetings to discuss individual chapters.
